This story is close to my heart, because I've been dislocating since my teens, without knowing why. When multiple doctors ask if I had EDS, I started to pay attention. And when I found out I'm one of approximately 31,000 people in Australia with the condition, and there's currently no treatment, I look at my kids and want a better future - one where they'll get help for this.

But what about the story?

It was borne last BrisNova, where I was chatting to another author about a dragon with a hoard of a single coin... and the idea grew. Within the pages is everything from Baba Yaga to Roman soldiers, to holographic dragons and so much more.

My story in this is well and truly outside Lissae - Kaylee is a teen in the middle of her senior year at high school. Oh, and every time she dislocates something (which is pretty often), she changes into some sort of demon dog. A trip through the portal later, she comes across the dragon and his coin, and things start to change... will it be for the better, or is it all just going to get worse?
